Hi, my name is Abiola Bolaji and I am from Edgewater Park, NJ. I am a senior in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering, working toward a certificate in Computer Science. On campus I am involved in National Society of Black Engineers, Black Student Union, Running Club, and Robotics. In my free time I enjoy chilling around Frist or talking with my friends or working out in the gym. Joining my first club.
My favorite memories from my first year at Princeton were joining my first clubs and the times when my friends from home would come to campus. It was funny introducing them to people and showing them around campus.
Yes, it can be stressful. I like to take breaks from work, exercise, and eat. Princeton can be a very challenging environment that sometimes feels as though you cannot take a break. Its important to ask for help because your mental health matters more a PSET. Not one individual will make it through this university without the help of friends, peers from class, or resources that the university provides. Remember: asking for help is a life skill. Whether it be in the professional world or just living life, asking for help is a skill that should be built up while at Princeton and used in any environment.
