Hi and welcome to New College West! My name is Claire Weaver and I am from Oviedo, FL. I study how liquid dynamics within cells can result in changes in nuclear structure and organization and how outside cell stresses can tap into these physical principles. I previously studied at the University of Florida and have spent a couple summers in Pittsburgh doing research at Pitt!

My favorite place to spend time on campus is Poe field with friends. If you ask me about a unique knowledge related to Princeton, I would say ask me about anything regarding CBE, LSI, or MOL faculty and labs! I also know a bunch about hiking parks, bike routes, and restaurants within the area.

As you begin your journey here at Princeton, my advice would be: Everyone starts out with different experiences. Don't get bogged down comparing yourself. Focus on what makes you succeed and happy! :)
