What's a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
One of my favorite memories was spending late nights at 48 University Place (the Daily Princetonian newsroom): huddling around laptops, eating snacks, and celebrating as each article was published on our website. The ‘Prince’ is a welcoming community for aspiring writers and seasoned journalists alike, and I highly recommend it.

What's a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
I really enjoyed taking GSS 337 / MTD 302: Gender Crossings in American Musical Theater with Professor Herrera. I had no formal academic background in either discipline, so learning how to analyze theater performance through a gender lens was exciting and forced me out of my comfort zone. It also gave me a chance to think creatively!

Hi NCW! I'm Evelyn, a senior concentrating in psychology and pursuing certificates in journalism and cognitive science. On campus, I serve as an officer of Tower Club and a reporter/editor for The Daily Princetonian. I also work for PAW, the University’s alumni magazine. In my free time, I enjoy cheering on friends at performing arts shows, finding new vegetarian recipes, and drinking black tea. As someone who spent many years 'undecided,' I would love to chat about interdisciplinary learning and how to find your niche. Please also feel free to reach out with questions about absolutely anything -- I'm excited to meet you!
