My name is Jaisnav Rajesh (2026) and I am from Naperville, Illinois. I am a senior, majoring in COS. In addition to being a New College West RCA, I serve on the NCW Residential College Leadership Team. I am also a SIFP Campus Ambassador, a Pace Center Student Leader, a Peer Career Advisor in the Career Center, and a Project Manager at the Financial Literacy Program. In the past, I held leadership roles in Scholars of Finance and Business Today. Lastly, I am a part of the Tiger Inn. In my free time, I love to stay active, whether that means lifting, running, high jumping, or playing spikeball. I also like to play table tennis in Frist, take long walks to the Grad College, or play pool at T.I..
One of my favorite memories from my first year at Princeton was competing in the spicy noodle challenge with my friends. It all began during our late-night hangouts at Studio 34, where we’d snack, talk, and jokingly argue over who had the highest spice tolerance. Eventually, we decided to settle it once and for all by entering the spicy noodle competition. What followed was a chaotic mix of sheer determination and tears. While none of us won, the time-lapse video we took is still one of my favorite things to rewatch.
It is really important to prioritize health and well-being! I started the habit of journaling during my freshman year and it’s been a great way to reflect, destress, and recognize progress. I also make sure to be active every day, eat well, and surround myself with good people.
I personally believe the value of Princeton is all the resources it provides. Whether it’s going to Office Hours to better understand class material and build relationships with professors, or meeting with Career Advisors to plan ahead. As a Peer Career Advisor myself, I'm always happy to help! There’s always support available if you’re willing to seek it out.
College is really the place to forge your own path and find yourself. I encourage you to stay adaptable, take good risks, and embrace new opportunities. Finally, I promise that you will find your community of people so never be afraid to introduce yourself to others.
