Kamaula Rowe '26

Bio/Description

My name is Kamaula Rowe ‘26 and I am from Queens, NY. I am a senior, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and working toward a certificate in Computer Science. During my time at Princeton, I have been highly involved in campus activities and clubs. Freshman year I was the Housing and Food Security Chair for the Student Volunteers Council, a member of the NCW College Council, and a Matriculate College Advisor. Sophomore year I was the Social Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Secretary for the Black Student Union (BSU). This year, I was the Vice President of NSBE, a SIFP Head Fellow, and a CLA for NCW.

In my free time I love to read, watch new shows, go to the gym, and hangout with friends. My favorite spots on campus are NCW, Cap and Gown (my eating club), and Frist. I love dropping in on all the various study breaks, especially those that revolve around arts and crafts. My favorite study break that I've done at NCW was a paint and sip event.

At Princeton, it is really important to put your health first. I prioritize well-being by taking naps and scheduling rest days so I can refresh my mind. I believe it is vital to take time of yourself when you are feeling overwhelmed or just need a break! We often fall into the trap of thinking  it is wrong to need help. Just the opposite! Whether you need serious support or a short check-in, it is important to ask for help at Princeton to achieve your goals.

I'm excited to meet all the new students and to continue getting to know the returning students. Please reach out whenever you need to talk. I am always just a message away!
