Kunsel Subrahmanyam '26

Bio/Description

Welcome to New College West! My name is Kunsel Subrahmanyam ‘26 and I am from Dharamsala, India. I am a senior majoring in ORFE and working toward a certificate in COS.

At Princeton, apart from being a RCA, I am part of the Liechtenstein Institute for Self Determination. I have found this experience amazing because of the opportunity to interact with world leaders, business leaders and interesting people from diverse backgrounds. I am also involved in TSIG, Tiger Inn, Chess Club, and the Entrepreneurship Club.

In my free time I love to play basketball, hang out at the Tiger Inn, and go to the gym. I would recommend that everyone play intramural sports. It’s a great way to bond with the community. My favorite memory from first year was giving a presentation to President Tsai Ing Wen of Taiwan as part of our LISD trip to Taipei.

As a first year you will learn how important it is to prioritize your own well-being. My tools? Exercise, meditation, and prayer. Get familiar with all the resources that Princeton has to offer. Everyone deals with concerns and issues. It's always helpful to hear a second opinion who can give you alternative pathways.

Princeton has so many interesting people that you will meet throughout your time here. Try experiences that push you out of your comfort zone, because that is where you will learn the most
