Hi and welcome to New College West! My name is Matthew and I am from North Babylon, NY. I'm an experimental organometallic chemist in the Chirik Group, focusing on the synthesis of ammonia by transition metal complexes. I just finished a 4-year BS/MS program in chemistry at Yale in 2022, where I also double majored in political science.

 I'm a big fan of the Institute Woods for hiking! If you asked me about a unique skill related to Princeton, I would say navigating an Ivy League school as a first-generation college student. I'm always happy to talk to anyone struggling with imposter syndrome or anything else.
