Addy Hall

Hi everyone! My name is Nathalie and I am from Princeton, NJ. I am a senior in the school of Molecular Biology, working toward a certificate in Neuroscience, computer science, and bioengineering.

I am involved in women’s lightweight rowing, the ‘Prince’ (daily student newspaper) Head Copy Editor, Peer Tutoring, and Outdoor Action (help lead small hiking/biking/canoeing outdoorsy trips during the school year). In my free time I bake, do crossword puzzles, and word games. I love hiking/climbing/biking/running (really, anything outdoorsy), reading, spending time with friends, and watching movies. My favorite spots on campus are Lake Carnegie at dawn or dusk, Poe field (although unfortunately it’ll be under construction this year :((), Coffee Club, and the lawn in front of Nassau Hall.

I’m a Princeton local so I’m happy to share the best local shops/restaurants/study spots in town, I love running/biking/hiking so I know lots of fun routes and paths and parks nearby. Also, I’ve had a lot of baking adventures in the dorm kitchens (with varying levels of success), so I can certainly share all my tips and tricks for navigating baking on campus. On a more serious note, I’m a student athlete, so I’m a good resource for any students looking for advice on balancing athletics or other time-intensive commitments with classes/academics (as most Princeton students are). I’ve also done a lot of research on campus (most first years don’t get involved in research right away, but I’m still happy to answer questions about opportunities outside of the classroom!)

My favorite memories of Princeton are of surprising friends for their birthday by baking a cake for them or getting a sweet/silly gift. Also, joining the rowing team! I was a walk-on and I really felt welcomed and part of that community. It was a great way to see people in person despite Covid restrictions in 2021.

Can’t wait to meet you all! Please reach out if you want some food recommendations from a Princeton local, tips on navigating the student-athlete life, have movie or music recommendations, or just want to chat about anything else :)
